What is Bowtie Cat?
Portland's best, community-fueled, hipster, game-centric-but-still-nerd-culture news site with a strange title.

This trailer for Borderlands 2, besides sporting some very listenable wubstep, is also very enlightening.

For one, it shows that Borderlands 2 is going to be more of what we got in the first title. This could be either good news or bad news, depending on whether or not you’re in the market for more Borderlands. It also announces a release date of September 21st, so there’s that. Any takers on how much later than September 21st the game actually comes out?

For me, I found the trailer to be a little underwhelming. For starters, the graphics seem very dated. It really doesn’t seem to me that the cel-shaded art style is holding up. I’m also not convinced that I want more Borderlands. It was a fun game, but without a much better story to back it up, I don’t think I want to jump back in.
