Having entered my first Magic: The Gathering tournament a few weeks ago, this seems worth mentioning. Amazing art by Sam Wolfe Connelly for Avacyn Restored. I think I have a few of these!

You know what makes me happy? Shunya Yamashita drawing things. For a good while now he’s been one of my favorite pin-up artists in the world. You know what else would be awesome? If he drew the entire Tekken cast for Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Some of these are illustrations that have been shown for Bishoujo figures as well as the upcoming Bishonen line so I’m guessing that some of these will definitely be used by Kotobukiya for their figures. Here is hoping because I absolutely love the way he draws both ladies, dudes, bears, and kangaroos in boxing gloves.
